Ka'teen

Located in the heart of Hollywood, Ka’teen burrows itself into the center of the Tommie Hotel, bringing flavors of the Yucatan through the vision and palette of Chef Wes Avila.  

CLUB envisioned the full identity, along with providing a name that appealed to weary travelers and knowledgeable locals. The name Ka’teen reflects the language of the indigenous Mayan people who inhabit the Yucatan region while still feeling familiar to the laypeople. Building on the name, we developed visuals by taking from the area’s inspirations and providing it with the modern vibrancy Chef Wes brings to the menu.
